Banh mis on FLEEK. The veggie subs are so delicious and the coffee is strong. I love coming here on a Sunday afternoon and ordering for pick up so I can go chill at the park and eat my banh mi.

The 4 stars is for food & price!! It is yummy!! The sandwiches are tasty and the baguettes are fresh. Service is okay...they are not too friendly, but they are not mean...they are just there to take your order. However, we did ask for water...when we walked over to pick up the sandwiches, we didn't have our water & I asked for water & instead of getting water, he was doing something else first; he was putting stuff away...so we had to wait to eat our sandwich...because we were waiting for water.
I also noticed that their Spring Rolls are on the counter!! It has shrimp...I'm not sure but food like this should be refrigerated and not be out in room temperature. Should it? But if it's okay good...this is just an FYI. Who knows how long it has been on the counter. I hope it doesn't grow bacteria. Service is 2 to 3 stars I guess. -

I used to love eating here, but after this last experience I will no longer be a customer. I was served a moldy cucumber in my sandwich! The only reason I noticed it was because I was pulling out the peppers for my husband. I ate the first half prior to this finding and ended up vomiting all night. This is the day after and I still feel sick. Never again will I order from here.

4 Stars because this is one of the most expensive Banh Mi place I've ever been to considering there are other Banh me places walking distance from Sandwich Express. I ordered the following:
Pork Loaf with BBQ pork with extra meat and pate. This sandwich was $8. However, it did weigh almost 1/2 lb but it's still pretty expensive. The sandwich was very filling and good especially with their freshly baked bread.
The place is very clean and it does get crowded some times. I'll go again but not get the extra meat and pate. -

Simple. Cheap. Delicious!
This local Vietnamese gem in the valley is the best sandwich place I've been in the valley. Pure flavor and no gimmicks. They claim to have the best baguette in the valley and I absolutely agree! For a little over $5, you get a taste of heaven. I LOVE this place! Thank you!!!!!!!
